Dear GenCell Community,

Here at GenCell Inc., the newly reinforced U.S.-based commercial arm of GenCell Ltd., we have been hard at work upgrading the latest versions of our GenCell EVOXÂŽ and GenCell GEMS™ products for the North American market; we are pleased to share with you here the latest updates in this regard. Most recently we have modified our website to separate GenCell Inc.serving the U.S.market from GenCell Ltd., our global holding company. We invite you to check out the new content, especially the EVOX and GEMS product pages.

Looking at today's energy sector, in which both public and private programs in the U.S. are in flux, there is acute concern as to what’s needed to ensure long-term power resilience, stability and reliability.  While
federal policies towards renewable energy in the U.S. are shifting, some fundamental issues facing the energy sector and indeed the U.S. economy have not and will not change: the need to close the power gap and ensure climate resilience.

At present support in the U.S. for solar PV and wind power is under scrutiny, but recognition of hydrogen as a bridge technology remains central. Hydrogen both stabilizes as renewables enter the grid, as well as fuels the transitioning energy mix from fossil to clean fuels. This growing role of hydrogen drives increased demand for the GenCell EVOXÂŽ solution, designed to deliver resilient, sustainable, grid-optional, high-capacity continuous power for DC fast charging of EVs, electrified equipment and other peak loads - wherever and whenever needed.

The spanking new enhanced high-capacity GenCell EVOX has been delivered to its first destination in the U.S.

What's New with EVOX? Watch this Space!!!

We are so excited to share that over the past months, the GenCell team has designed and engineered the latest enhanced high-capacity EVOX solution for the U.S. market. This product delivers 1680kWh per day - offering a steady 277/480V power supply supporting Level 2 & 3 DC fast chargers at locations where this power is otherwise not available.  This spanking new unit has now been delivered to its first destination in the U.S.and will soon be ready to launch - watch this space for more details!

GenCell EVOX: Empowering Mission-Critical Operations with Dispatchable Solutions

GenCell EVOXÂŽ hydrogen-powered DERs dispatch reliable, stable high-capacity power to locations where grid infrastructure cannot fully meet demand. The grid-optional product is engineered to support critical sites in grid-challenged locations that are increasingly dependent on stable, uninterrupted power flow for electrified equipment and EV fleets, from buses to commercial vans and trucks of different sizes.

The flexible, configurable and rapidly deployed GenCell EVOX supplements the grid by supporting dynamic behind-the-meter power requirements for multiple use cases across different industry sectors, from routine EV fleet charging and hybrid microgrids to facility backup power and emergency response during outages. EVOX supports seaports, automotive EV supply chains, electrified warehouses and logistics centers and electrified equipment used for diverse purposes.  EVOX's containerized three-phase power ensures continuous operations at sites where grid upgrades are not possible or involve long lead times (typically 24-36 months) . GenCell at Cal EPIC Symposium: Clean Mobility & EV Charging

At a recent event demonstrating and testing hydrogen fuel cell generator technology â€” a game-changing, zero-emission alternative to diesel for off-grid and mobile applications sponsored by the California Air Resources Board and hosted by Cal EPIC (California Energy, Power & Innovation Collaborative), formerly known as the California Mobility Center (CMC) in Sacramento, GenCell's Western Regional Sales Manager John Felts showcased the GenCell EVOX solution for EV fleet charging—highlighting how clean, dispatchable hydrogen power can support the future of electric mobility in California and beyond. The event aimed to show that:

  • Zero-emission (ZE) generators have more benefits than expected.
  • HFC technology is mature, available, and ready to support real-world applications.
  • ZE gensets will play a key role in future policy development and incentive programs at state agencies.

GenCell and Cal EPIC have partnered to demonstrate the EVOX bridge power solution for DC fast EV charging at Cal EPIC's Sacramento HQ facility.
